How To Use It
Setting Up Your WingView™
✅ 1- Fully charge the camera with the included USB-C cable before first use. The solar panel keeps it topped up after that.
✅ 2- Download the free VicoHome app from the App Store or Google Play and create an account.
✅ 3- Tap Add Device, turn the camera on, and follow the in-app steps to connect it to your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
✅ 4- Name your camera, then mount the feeder within Wi-Fi range and connect the solar panel facing the sun.
✅ 5- Fill the hopper with a quality seed mix and wait for your first visitor alert.
Turning On Bird ID
✅ 1- In the app, start your free bird AI trial from the User tab.
✅ 2- Open your camera’s Notification Settings and switch on Bird Fans.
✅ 3- Bird visits are tagged in your Library. Tap one to see the suggested species.
✅ 4- Visit the Birds page to see every species that has stopped by, with visit times and counts.
Refilling & Care
✅ 1- Lift the roof to top up the seed.
✅ 2- Put out small amounts of fresh seed so it doesn’t sit or go mouldy.
✅ 3- Wipe the camera lens with a soft dry cloth every couple of weeks.
✅ 4- Clean the tray regularly with warm water to keep visiting birds healthy.

Yes. It connects to a 2.4GHz home Wi-Fi network (5GHz isn’t supported), so place it where your signal reaches the garden. Most home routers broadcast 2.4GHz. If you’re unsure, check your router settings.

No subscription is needed for live view, motion alerts, two-way audio, sharing or SD card recording. AI bird identification and extended cloud storage are part of an optional paid plan in the VicoHome app, which comes with a free trial so you can try it first.
What birds will I see?
It depends on where you live and what grows nearby. Seed-eating birds such as parrots, finches and doves are common feeder visitors in many Australian backyards.
